We've got tours to suit all tastes from breweries and distilleries across Northern and Southern Tasmania.
The Brew Hop is dedicated to showcasing the talents of independent Tasmanian craft breweries and distilleries to locals, visitors and private groups.
Our guided tours provide an opportunity for people to learn about Tasmanian beer and spirits and their rich history.
At each stop on one of our tours you’ll be presented with a curated selection of beverages from a local brewery or distillery and run through a comprehensive tasting with each one. You’ll also get the opportunity to see behind the scenes of a working brewery and distillery, with insights into how Tasmanian beer, gin and whisky got to be so tasty!
"We were staying in Hobart for a few days and looked online for craft breweries to visit and found The Brew Hop tour. What a great find, we spent a very enjoyable afternoon visiting 3 of Hobart’s craft breweries all in walking distance offering a great range of beer styles. Harrison our tour guide was great company and very knowledgeable about all things brewing and the local Hobart hospitality scene. A highlight was getting a behind the scenes look at a working brewery. Would highly recommend Harrison and his tour to anyone interested in beer / brewing or just looking for a great way to spend an afternoon."
"I’d most definitely recommend this tour; it was a great afternoon and was good to step out of my “beer comfort zone” and try some different beers to what I usually drink. I also appreciated the communication received before and after the tour - definitely a great experience all round."
"This is how beer tours should be. The locations were interesting and fun to visit, the beers were different enabling me to expand my palate, the food was great and the walks in between the different locations of the craft breweries helped clear and refresh the mind and taste buds. Harrison is very knowledgeable and passionate about beer and definitely an expert in the field. There was more than sufficient beer to taste and the whole 3 hours was very enjoyable and a wonderful, memorable experience."
