Huon Valley Cider and Spirits Tour

Join us for a trip to the lovely Huon Valley, home of the Tasmanian apple industry and back up the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. We’ll be stopping off at a whisky and gin distillery, cheesemaker come distillery and two different cider mills, each with their own take on cider production. Our tours are all inclusive and will include lunch on the day.

Join us on a tour of the picturesque Huon Valley, the home of apple farming in Tasmania. Our tour bus will take you into the heart of the Huon to sample a variety of French style ciders and brandies, then further downriver for a selection of fruit blend ciders. Once the tastings there are complete, we’ll move across to the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, overlooking Bruny Island, to visit a sheep milk dairy, that has transformed into a gin distillery in the pursuit of sustainability and a husband and wife run whisky distillery in a renovated garage.

This tour operates every Friday through Sunday and runs for approximately five hours.

We will meet at Brooke St Pier at 11.30am.

Lunch is included in your tour and will be at Willie Smith's. Please notify us of any dietary requirements.
