Can I change the date of my booking?

Absolutely. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate you on another day, however our tours don’t operate every day of the week. Date changes must have at least 7 days notice.

Can I cancel my booking?

We hope not, but yes you can cancel, as we understand that some circumstances are beyond control. Any cancellation more than 7 days prior will receive a full refund, minus processing fees. Cancellations more than 48 hours prior to the tour will forfeit 40% of the fee, whilst anything less than 48 hours prior to the tour will still be charged the full fee for the tour.

How much will I drink during the tour?

Tasting sizes and portions vary with each of our tours. Should you consume everything you are given, you will exceed the legal driving limit. You are welcome to abstain at any point and we strongly discourage the purchasing of extra drinks during the tour.

Will there be food available on the tour?

There will be a lunch stop at a local pub or brewery which is included in your tour fee. Additional snacks will be available for purchase at some of the venues.

What happens if we run late?

If you run late, please contact your guide as soon as possible. They can advise you where you’ll be able to catch up, depending on how far behind you are.

Can you accommodate larger groups?

We certainly can. Please contact us via email so we can determine the best way to get your group tasting some beers!

Will we get to meet the brewers?

Most of the tours and tastings will be conducted by a member of the production team, however there will be times when they aren’t available. Your guide on the day will be very knowledgeable about brewing and distillation techniques and should be able to answer any questions you have.

What should I wear?

Check the weather prior to heading out. Tasmania can get pretty cold, even during Summer. Enclosed, sensible shoes are essential as we’ll be walking through production areas and there are OH&S regulations.

What if it's raining?

The tour will operate rain, hail or shine. Tasmanian weather is sometimes unpredictable so make sure you check the potential weather forecast for the day and come prepared. We'll only be outside on the short walks in between breweries.

What if I drink too much?

The Brew Hop practice RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and will stop service for anyone who is displaying signs of intoxication. The tours are a fun and informative experience, but it’s important that everyone behave sensibly and safely.
